Patient care at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center is comprehensive and unique. Through LSU Health Sciences Center's partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center includes a St. Jude outpatient affiliate clinic where children are treated according to detailed St. Jude protocols. In addition, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center patients have opportunities to participate in clinical trials with the newest treatments to combat cancer. Feist-Weiller Cancer Center is humbled by the number of patients who, by their own choice, take part in experimental therapies. The Center is a leading enroller for numerous clinical trials in the Southwest Oncology Group.

Feist-Weiller Cancer Center is a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers, American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Association of Cancer Executives, and the Louisiana Cancer Control Partnership. Feist-Weiller Cancer Center is home to an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.
